SoulHum September 2024

We are ramping up for another 2 days of connection, collaboration and community at the Treefield!

Our mission is to create a transformational space to dive deep, discovering a way to relate to beings from all walks of life and have fun while doing it.

If you want a space to let loose, be yourself and stay in connection with others, take a courageous step and join SoulHum January 2026.

So what is SoulHum?

Soulhum is an event which focuses on bringing people together from all generations to create the natural human way of living in a village. We all have gifts to bring, and things we can learn from each other. What is connection when we see each other as we are? Uplifting our differences, empowering each other.

The Journey began over 2 years ago when a group of adolescents teamed up with a team of adults: asking for what they wanted. A drug free space to connect with others without feeling the need to rely on substances or be someone else.

Video from SoulHum 2023

SoulHum - An intergenerational space to bridge the gap between young adults and ‘everyone else,’ to learn from each other and experience individuality through the lens of the collective.

What would it actually look like?

SoulHum includes many possibilities for action and for stillness. A juxtaposition of shared, held space and open, optional times. Rage spaces (working with conscious anger), play, conscious movement/dance infused with Possibility Management, art and crafting, music creation, DJing, drumming as a whole group, bush craft, Sauna and hot tub, nourishing communal meals, carving workshops

and much more.

Creative expression, skills development, authentic connection and community living.

To add to the authenticity of this event, the team who are co-creating it and making it happen are made up of younger and older adults alike: aged 19-50+. Every workshop will be held by a ‘younger’ adult and an ‘older’ adult, to get inspired by each other and bring the two different vibes. All are passionate about creating this intergenerational link between young and older.

A quote from one team member, Sybille Biedert:
“I am in this team because I am a bridge builder and I love creating communities with different ages. It inspires me to connect and share with different ages as so much becomes possible for myself and the younger person [as well].”

Another team member, Fox Horton aged 19, says:

“‘The Village’ as a concept brings me a lot of joy and sadness at the same time. We as human beings thrive off connection and we all need support from others, I have experienced firsthand how much a community around me feeds my being. On the other hand so many people, especially young people like me, feel alone in the world and don’t know how to create the connection they are craving. SoulHum to me is a way to bring more community, more skills for connection into the world.”

Inspire and be inspired, experience connection in action, let’s discover ourselves together. We are each a note and voice, each an individual song and melody; bring yours and join our collective harmony.
