Day 2 - Centering

Context for Day 2

Anger is not good or bad. Anger is a force of nature. Like fire, water, wind and earth, it exists whether we approve of it or not. As long as you are alive inside a human body you will have access to anger. The question is never whether you have anger.

The question is:
Will you use it consciously or unconsciously?
Conscious anger creates. Unconscious anger destroys.

Why do we start with centering?
Centering Is Choosing Yourself

Being centred means:

“I am here.”

“I can feel.”

“I can choose.”

“I can take responsibility for my life.”

For reclaiming your attention, your anger and un-numbing yourself, we want to reconnect you with your curiosity. The part of you that is in awe with life, open and interested.

Which one ?? Team what do you think? Which one shall we use?

Curiosity is a big step of Un-numbing yourself, being curious of what is really going on for you!

Numbness is the biggest disease we have in the world right now. Its what creates war eventually, because its disconnects us from our feelings our humanness. As bigger the numbness in you and the strategies you have put into place, as harder it is to be alive and ask, choose and declare what you want.

Practice of the Day

Practice 1 - Centering yourself

  • 3 x today center yourself - and from today onwards every day…
Begin noticing where you give your centre away.

  • Either use the written up practise and make yourself a recording or

  • use the guided centering practise with sound 8 min long

Practice 2 - Begin the process of un-numbing yourself
Writing down all your strategies:

  • How do you numb yourself? What are your main strategies?
What is the price you pay for your numbing?

  • Here are some samples: staying busy, overworking, excessive exercise, scrolling social media, over eating, drinking coffee, drinking alcohol, drugs, cleaning, overthinking

  • Be radically honest with yourself, be curious, what are your ways of numbing? Once you know you have more choice, autopilot turned of.

Centering Practise guided and with sound 8 min long
