Day 6 - Five Bodies
Context for Day 6
Distinction: You Have Five Bodies
As we begin exploring conscious anger and embodiment, it matters for you to start noticing that you have five bodies, not just one. Each of your bodies has different needs, different pains, different ways of being nourished, and different experiences of joy and ecstasy.
One of the reasons many women struggle to access healthy anger is because they have only learned to listen to one body, usually the mental or physical body, while the others have been ignored, or being unconsciously fed.
When you begin paying attention to all your five bodies, by getting curious, you create many more possibilities for taking care of yourself. Instead of reacting automatically, you can become curious about which body is actually asking for attention and respond.
For example, you might eat food because you think your physical body is hungry, when what is really longing for nourishment is your emotional body. Or you might keep yourself endlessly busy when what your energetic body actually needs is stillness and space to be connected to you. Conscious anger helps reveal where your attention has been disconnected and offers the power to take it back.
Embodiment Is an Experience, Not a Concept
Conscious anger is not something you learn by reading about it. It is something you experience.
To become more alive, you take steps to become more present. To become more present, you first become more embodied. The more embodied you are, the more incarnated you become. You feel more, notice more, and have access to more of your own wisdom. You have greater access to choice.
Embodiment is not an idea. It is movement, sensation, feeling, choice and presence.
As you practise conscious anger over these 21 days, you will discover more how to inhabit all five bodies more fully.
-
Physical Body
The body you can touch and move. It needs rest, movement, food, touch, breath, sleep, and physical care.Emotional Body
The body that feels. It needs space to experience the four feelings: anger, fear, sadness, and joy, without suppressing or avoiding them. The body that stores emotions.Energetic Body
The body of attention, presence, aliveness, and life force. It becomes stronger when you consciously choose where your attention goes instead of letting it wonder around neurotically.Mental Body
The body that makes meaning, creates distinctions, learns, imagines, and reflects. It is a beautiful servant, but a poor master. It is here to support your experience of life, not replace it.Archetypal Body
The body that connects you to your deeper purpose, your unique gifts, creativity and the larger forces moving through your life. It allows you to step beyond your familiar identity and become who you are truly capable of being.
This body only starts coming alive once you are in touch with your other bodies.Over the coming days, you will strengthen each of these bodies. As they become more integrated, your capacity to feel conscious anger grows.
We are so much more than just a physical body, such magical creations.
If only we would be taught from a young age that loving ourselves begins with getting to know each of our bodies, building relationship with them and staying in touch with them.
Building Capacity
Practising conscious anger is not about becoming louder. It is about becoming bigger.
Many of us women have learned to stay small, invisible, by scattering our energy and being quiet. Holding all of our bigness and intensity, can feel scary, so we disconnect from our feelings instead.
Here you are practising how to get in touch and contain your bigness.
Not just with your physical body, but with all five bodies. The more your emotional body can feel and let you know your direction, the more your energetic body can hold and create, the clearer your mental body becomes, and the more connected your archetypal body then drops in is to the more you arrive here on earth, doing your puzzle piece.
Your vessel (5 Bodies) is so much bigger than you think.
Every practice in this course is building and expanding your capacity for more love, more power, and more responsibility. More of YOU!
Welcome your anger.
Welcome your fear.
Welcome your sadness.
Welcome your joy.
Welcome all that is here.
Each feeling is trying to reconnect you with yourself. Each practice strengthens your capacity to stop leaking energy and start owning it.
This is what it means to embody conscious anger.
Practice of the Day
Create a page in your journal and write the name of one of the bodies at the top. Rule the page in half so you have 3 quadrants. Write the questions “how do i experience nourishment?”, “how do i experience pain?” and “when do I experience ecstasy?”. Repeat this layout for each of the 5 bodies.
Notice when in your life you experience these states and in which body. Write it down, and continue to add to it as you deepen your intimacy with all that is you.

The Archetypal Body emerges when the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic bodies are in alignment. It is the gateway to purpose, allowing a deeper connection to something greater than the self. When activated, the Archetypal Body stands for clarity, creation, and transformation, accessing resources beyond personal limitations. It is through this body that one steps into their highest potential, serving life with integrity, authenticity, and responsibility.
