Welcome to ‘Embodied Intimacy’ - Northern Rivers, Australia
Move, Feel, Heal and Be Real
A multi-day immersion designed to empower your self-inquiry & interpersonal connections through somatic practices, mindfulness and community.
Together we create a brave space to embrace your creativity and presence. We slow down, listen to the body, and focus on authentic human connection. Think of this as a practical and fun immersion offering a bold approach to being in touch with your own heart. Over the four days you’ll explore a deeper “yes” to your life, discover more resources to be regular connection with yourself and your feelings (the source of your own radiance). Through guided embodied exercises, you will walk away with actionable tools for your everyday life, the possibility to communicate more honestly, become more assertive and be more in touch with what you really want.

When we speak about intimacy here, we mean:
Authentic human connection - with yourself, with others, and with nature.
Presence without story - meeting someone or yourself in the now, without masks or roles.
Vulnerability and courage - sharing what is real for you.
Embodied connection - discovering your physical, emotional, mental, archetypal, and energetic bodies to deepen your presence.
A doorway to transformation - not a goal, instead a space that opens and can be experienced at any time when spaciousness and logistics drop away.
We practice intimacy through embodiment; bringing generous attention to all five bodies, moving, listening, and being present. The more you inhabit yourself fully, the more authentic your connection with others become.
What Embodied Intimacy offers is a Somatic Authentic Relating Laboratory,
for you to experiment and evolve in your ability to relate to yourself & others, as well as join a community.

The Venue
Arcoora Arts And Ecology Training Ground - Northern Rivers, Australia
Arcoora is a former Buddhist Meditation Centre (Vajradhara Gonpa), so the majority of the infrastructure was built by them, and their essence has certainly been left in many ways. It is now a non-for-profit community organisation for trainings, workshops, retreats and festivals that align with its values of nature connection & regeneration, community and self-transformation.
What Arcoora offers to ‘Embodied Intimacy’ is a peaceful setting amidst the lush forest that surrounds the retreat centre.

Many people come to Embodied Intimacy without knowing anyone. Our focus is on the individual. The majority of attendees fly solo, and attending alone gives you the chance to meet and connect with more people. However, attending Embodied Intimacy with a partner or friend would also be brilliant, as then you have someone to carry on the culture with at home.
Since this retreats capacity is 40 (MAX) attendees, everyone gets to know each other very quickly. This makes it an ideal multi-day workshop to attend if you don’t know many others or anyone at all, as the schedule is intended to foster group cohesion and connection, as well as self-discovery.
