Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many people come to Embodied Intimacy without knowing anyone. Our focus is on the individual. The majority of attendees fly solo, and attending alone gives you the chance to meet and connect with more people. However, attending Embodied Intimacy with a partner would also be brilliant, as then you have someone to carry on the culture at home.

Since the workshop is limited to 50 attendees, everyone gets to know each other very quickly. This makes it an ideal multi-day workshop to attend if you don’t know many others or anyone at all, as the schedule is intended to foster group cohesion and connection, as well as self-discovery.

  • Over the years we have had all levels of fitness and all different ages attend - and we are accommodating of this, including chairs in the movement spaces. We encourage you to go at your own pace, in a physical sense. This space focuses on inner navigation rather than high energy expression (even though this is also welcomed).

  • Yes, we welcome individuals of all sexual orientations and gender expressions. Our exercises are not based on gender and are not designed in a heteronormative way. We focus on human connections.

  • No, all of our guests arrive on Wednesday and stay until Sunday. We start together and finish together.

  • Attendees arrive from 12pm on Wednesday. The opening of the space is at 2pm.
