Embodied Freedom - International Tour 2026
Together, we are the creators of Embodied Freedom, a body of work that weaves empowerment, celebration, emotional intimacy and healing through movement, music, and authentic relating. What we offer is both experiential and practical, encouraging people to develop emotional fluidity, clarity in communication, and a deeper sense of belonging within themselves and in community.
Together, we create spaces where people are invited to step beyond familiar patterns and into direct experience, where movement, music, and relational practice become gateways to transformation. Our work bridges the personal and the collective, offering both depth and play, structure and freedom.
Now traveling internationally, we bring our workshops, immersions, and community-based learnings to a wider audience, sharing the skills, insights, and embodied wisdom that have grown from over two decades of living, loving, and creating in community.
Hello International Conscious Communitys,
We are Sybille and Jason, community weavers, facilitators, and coaches based in Golden Bay, Aotearoa New Zealand. For over 23 years, we have lived in intentional community, raising four sons close to the land and immersing ourselves in the real, day-to-day practice of what it means to live, relate, and grow together.
Our work is rooted in this lived experience. Through decades of trainings, personal inquiry, and more than ten years of creating transformational spaces, we have developed a deep understanding of the subtle art of human connection. As coaches, facilitators, and community consultants, we empower individuals and groups to navigate the realities of living and creating together, grounded in the knowing that the capacity of navigating one’s inner world determines whether a community thrives or falls apart.
Alongside this, we offer practices for emotional fluidity through conscious dance. Sybille also holds weekly movement gatherings in Golden Bay and five-day deep dive journeys called Embodied Intimacy, which is a somatic authentic relating laboratory.

I am am Sybille, a passionate weaver of community and conscious movement spaces, devoted to holding bold, tender and connective spaces where aliveness returns; especially for women. Music is my language, the pulse through which I feel, connect, and remember.
With 2 sons and a heart shaped by decades of communal living, I dance at the edge, as a world-bridge builder, a movement alchemist, and an emotional midwife. My curiosity about how the body heals has taken me deep into the mystery, and now I travel with these living discoveries, creating spaces where others can feel, heal, train and move from the inside out.

I honour music and movement as our oldest rituals, gateways to authenticity, belonging, initiation and wild celebration. What I offer is a remembering, an invitation to come home to who you are when the masks is moving and melting.
Sybille is a bold and deeply rooted community weaver, devoted to creating spaces where people can come into honest relationship with themselves, each other, and the living world, by being allowed to fully feel.
Now 51 and a mother of four grown sons, her work is grounded in over 23 years of living in an intentional community called Tui in Aotearoa New Zealand.Much of what is now known as Embodied Freedom was born from this lived experience. Growing within the relational field of community life, her work also carries a deep respect for land, belonging, and the subtle dynamics of human connection.
These years have shaped her ability to create clear, grounded spaces where people feel held enough to be real, and encouraged enough to feel, move and heal.Sybille is the creator of the Embodied Freedom Movement Practice, a body of work that brings together decades of exploration, training, and lived inquiry. Her path includes years of Vipassana meditation, extensive training and accreditation as an Open Floor Movement Teacher, a long journey with 5Rhythms, and over nine years of deep shadow work and emotional healing with her training in Possibility Management, offering a trauma-aware and possibility-oriented approach to transformation.
Out of this rich foundation, Sybille has woven a unique and courageous body of work. Rather than following one lineage, she has created a new one. She integrates these practices and modalities into a grounded, embodied approach that empowers people to develop emotional literacy, establish healthy boundaries, clarify their purpose, and become aware of outdated patterns. Her spaces invite participants to step beyond comfort zones and into direct experience, reconnecting with parts of themselves that have been long forgotten.
Over many years, she has initiated and led workshops, retreats, and rites of passage journeys, including Tides a Rites of passage program that has been going for 23 years. She is known for her ability to bring visions into form, and equally for her willingness to let them go once they are strong enough to stand on their own.
Sybille holds a particular dedication to young women from the age of 18, inspiring them to step into their lives with clarity, self-trust, and embodied leadership. Many of those she has walked alongside have grown into facilitators themselves and are now part of the Embodied Freedom team.
Her work is both relational and transformative, grounded and bold. With a refined sensitivity to group dynamics, she creates spaces where individual, collective, and multigenerational healing can unfold. What she offers is not only a practice, but a lived pathway, one that continues to evolve as she now shares training and immersions with communities internationally.
I am Jason Horton, a Creative Space Catalyst, conscious movement lover, and facilitator. I’m also the father of four teenage sons and an evolutionary artist.
For decades I’ve worked as a multimedia artist, immersed in transformational spaces, spiritual communities, and sacred ceremonies. My gift is in bringing spaces alive while also navigating the tech that helps share them with the world.
I am dedicated to our collective awakening through the creative arts and group resonance, and I am passionate about designing transformational events and co-creating regenerative communities where authenticity, creativity, and connection can thrive. Have a listen to my sample Ecstatic Dance mixes below and get in touch if you want to co-create.
